HOW IT WENT - TIMELINE

2022-2024

While still in corporate, I took a guiding course. After leaving, I began leading tours across Czechia and beyond — and have guided over 200+ groups since. I also worked for a travel start-up helping new partners to create unique itineraries.

Jan 2025

I decided to go all in and started building Czech Out Tours from scratch — logo, website, itineraries — hoping that soon I would spend less time at the desk and more in the field.

Mar 2025

Czech Out was officially registered as a travel agency, including permits, insurance, and brand protection.

Apr 2025

I picked up a brand new 8-seater van — a key step to ensure my guests enjoy comfortable travel on small-group trips anywhere.

May 2025

Launched booking system on my website and created profiles on platforms like Google or Tripadvisor. Test, tweak, repeat.

Jun 2025

Full launch of operations — including test tours, final website, system tweaks, and welcoming the first paying customers.

Such a fantastic tour guide! Ondrej is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I booked a tour of Kutna Hora, an absolute highlight was visiting Sedlec Ossuary and a medieval silver mine. Ondrej also ensured we got to try Burčák, a type of wine that is only available for a few weeks each year! So delicious!

I had an amazing time on the Kutná Hora tour with Czech Out Tours! The entire experience was very well-organized, from transportation to the guided visits at each historical site. Kutná Hora itself is absolutely stunning, but what truly made the tour unforgettable was our guide, Ondra. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and brought a lot of humor and personal stories into the experience.

Interesting history about the churches and cathedrals. The Bone Church was very interesting. Also, the vineyard views were very beautiful and I really enjoyed the local wine tasting.
