WHAT TO EXPECT
Pick-up in Prague between 7:00-8:00*
1️⃣ Guided Walk: Castle, Old Town & Hidden Corners
We begin at the top — literally. After arriving early (before the big crowds), we’ll park above the town and start a guided walk through the castle complex (exteriors), taking in sweeping views over the rooftops and the Vltava River bens as we descend gently along a cobbled path.
From there, we’ll explore what were once three separate historic towns — Latrán, the Old Town, and the Jewish Quarter. Each has its own unique vibe, and we take the time to enjoy it all.
This isn’t a checklist march — we move at a relaxed, easy-going pace, stopping for photos, stories, and local insights. Along the way, we’ll discover hidden gems most tours skip — from tucked-away viewpoints to charming artisan shops and quiet corners that feel miles away from the main square.
Physical demand: 🟢 Easy (well-maintained paths, walking down)
2-2.5 hours ● Guided walk
🍽️ Traditional Lunch
After a morning of exploring, we’ll enjoy a well-deserved lunch at a cozy local restaurant, where you’ll experience authentic Czech cuisine. Expect hearty traditional dishes — from slow-cooked meats and rich sauces with typical dumplings to seasonal specialties.
Please note that vegan and vegetarian options in traditional Czech cuisine are limited, but we are happy to coordinate with the kitchen to find a suitable meal.
Physical demand: 🔘 Not applicable (seated break)
1 hour ● Lunch Included (1 main course + 1 non-alcoholic drink, beer or wine)
2️⃣ Free Time: Local Tips & Museum of Your Choice
Once you’ve got your bearings, you’ll have at least 2 hours of free time to explore on your own. Whether you want to sip coffee by the river, hunt for local crafts, or just soak in the town’s magic, we’ve got you covered with insider tips.
And because every traveler’s interest is different, your ticket includes entry to one museum of your choice. Some of the options:
🖼️ Castle Museum
🧬 Moldavite Museum
🎨 Egon Schiele Art Centrum
📿 Monastery Museum
🏛️ Regional Museum
Note: opening times vary by season, and most museums are closed on Mondays. Your guide will help you choose the best available option on the day.
When your free time comes to an end, we’ll meet at a convenient, pre-agreed spot near the center, so you won’t have to walk uphill again. Just relax — we’ll come pick you up by car.
Physical demand: 🟢 Easy (🟡 Moderate if you choose to walk up the castle again)
2 hod ● Free Time ● Admission to One Museum included
3️⃣ Holašovice: UNESCO Bohemian Village
On the way back to Prague, we make a final stop in Holašovice — a tiny, postcard-perfect village that’s been beautifully preserved and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We’ll spend about 30 minutes here, just enough to stretch your legs and soak in the calm atmosphere of rural South Bohemia. Your guide will give you a short walk-through of the village’s unique layout, history, and folk traditions — a quiet end to a rich day.
There are a few small seasonal exhibitions and craft displays, though opening hours vary depending on the time of year. Sometimes the peace and quiet itself is the best part.
🟢 Easy (short walk on flat surface)
30-45 min ● Guided Walk & Free Time ● Museum visits at own cost
