overview

Discover Kutná Hora the comfortable way — without the rushing typical of most tours. Spend a full day exploring in a small group at a relaxed, unhurried pace.

After convenient hotel pickup in Prague, we begin at a rarely visited folk village museum. We peek into traditional huts and learn about Czech crafts and traditions.

After lunch, we explore Kutná Hora, once one of Europe’s richest towns. Visit two cathedrals, stroll cobblestone lanes and see the Royal Mint and Palace. We also stop at viewpoints or meet artisans like a winemaker, ceramicist or jeweler.

We end the day at the Bone Church (Sedlec Ossuary), visiting in the late afternoon when it is usually quieter, before returning to Prague.

We return to Prague in the early evening.

Please note: The folk museum is closed on Mondays and during winter (Nov, Dec 31–Mar 15). During this period, the tour features alternative highlights such as Český Šternberk Castle or the Folk Costume Museum.

Nov 2025 ︱ Kutná Hora & Village Tour
I went on a private tour with Ondrej and it was outstanding from start to finish! Ondrej is extremely charming, funny, knowledge, and passionate for his craft. I felt like I was spending the day with an old friend rather than a tour guide! Unlike large group tours, Ondrej includes thoughtful extras—delicious local bites, hidden gems, and his favorite small shops you’d never find on your own. His passion for the region and genuine care for his guests shine through every detail.

Our tour guide Ondrej was amazing, he was very friendly and efficient. He added little things which made the tour even better, he took us to a silver museum so that we could make a coin to keep and we had fun singing along to some music. The tour was excellent, I really enjoyed the village and the bone church was unique. I would highly recommend this tour.

Jun 2025 ︱ Kutná Hora & Village Tour
This was an amazing tour of a beautiful silver mining town I took with my family. The town itself was rich with history, culture and architectural beauty. The tour includes a visit to the Sedlec Ossuary which is a unique small chapel with interesting bone art. Our guide Ondra was very knowledgeable and would describe every location we visited while also answering any questions we had. The tour itself was easy to walk and there were breaks for lunch and at the destinations. Overall, it was a great way to experience a piece of Czech history and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Such a fantastic tour and very knowledgeable tour guide! Ondrej was super friendly and easy to communicate with. I travelled alone and the group was so welcoming, Ondrej made sure that everyone felt included and had some great recommendations for cafés in Kutná Hora. The Sedlec Ossuary was a personal highlight, as was the village museum. I would absolutely recommend tours with Czech Out and Ondrej, a great experience!!
